Police and Career Choice

Career choice is a choice to do with our future. We have to choose a career that we are interested in. The career I would love to do in the future is to be a police officer or a detective. The question I have chosen for my college application is “What inspired you to pursue your career choice?” The definition for pursue is to proceed in accordance with and the definition for inspire is to animate, as an influence, feeling, thought, or the like.

What inspired me to pursue my career choice is how the police show us that we can trust them as heroes. They help everyone by making our community safer. Police officers save lives from danger. The person who inspired me to choose my future career choice is Detective Gonzalez.

Detective Gonzalez inspired me by telling me how he saved lives and helped people out of the World Trade Center. He was brave enough to go in there and get out safe. He is a hero to me and it shows me how people look at him as a hero because of what he did. He started as a police and ended up as a detective.

A police officer or a detective is my career choice because I want to be a hero. I would love to help others and help make our community safer. I would love to make a difference in the world by helping others with whatever problems they are dealing with such as racism, robberies, etc.,
