This chapter aims to introduce and give an idea about the proposed system. In turning the next pages, you will learn about the Background of the Organization, its Goals, Objectives and Strategies, External Environment Affecting the Organization, Internal Organizations Constraint, and Assumption about Business Risks and Potential Consequences.

1.1 Background of the Organization
Taboada’s Beverage Store is a small privately owned business located in Poblacion, Meycauayan Bulacan. Owned by the Taboada Family, the store started out by selling only beer distributed by San Miguel Corporation in 2000. They catered almost every stores, eateries and local bars within their barangay. Since their business boomed in their barangay, they started wholesaling soft beverages distributed by the Coca-Cola Company. They sell their beverages in bulk or in cases. They use a manual inventory system. Such manual inventory actions are performed through handwriting in listing the quantity of incoming and outgoing items or stocks by means of BIN cards, record books and ledgers. But in performing this kind of task, the store keeper handles a burden of hard work activities delays to be accomplished went of records needed. And even if the work is carried out, problems on error listing could happen in this kind of manual job of sales and inventory monitoring.

1.2 Goals, Objectives and Strategies

1.3.1 Goals
a) To provide eclectic varieties of beverage to our customers. b) To provide friendly customer service to cover all our customer needs.

1.3.2 Objectives
a) To be a recognized distributor and supplier of beverages in Poblacion, Meycauayan, Bulacan. b) To grow our business profit with our existing market and product lines while maintaining our reputation.

a) Create a long-term relationship with our community and our clientele. b) Know the customer’s needs and demands....
