Point Blanc is written by Anthony Horowitz, the famous British author. It is the second book in the Alex Rider series. The story tells us about Alex Rider a teenager who was made spy after his uncle Ian Rider Died. Alex is sent on a mission to the point Blanc academy as the son of a very rich person David Friend. The academy of Point Blanc acts as a finishing school for the rich people’s son. Alex’s mission is to investigate whether two murders of very rich men who both sent their sons to the finishing school are related with this academy. When Alex reaches this academy he is welcomed by the director (Dr. Hugo Grief) and the assistant director (Ms. Stellenbosch). In the Academy Alex is not allowed to visit the basement, the second floor and the third floor. Alex couldn’t resist from investigating what was going on the three floors on which the students are not allowed to go. He investigated more and found out that both the director and the assistant director were talking about a Gemini project. When Alex had discovered enough things of this school for the MI6 He quickly informed MI6 before it was too late, When Dr. Grief came to now that Alex is an MI6 spy . Dr. Grief decided to kill him the next day. As Alex was going to be killed Dr. Grief decided to tell Alex more about the Gemini project. Fourteen years back Dr. Grief had cloned him sixteen times, the number of kids in the school. He had a plastic surgeon to turn each grief into a figure of a student in the school. Than he would get enough money that he could rule the world. MI6 came in time to save Alex and to also destroy the Gemini project. Alex’s mission was successful.
