1. Create a list of special needs accommodations for preschoolers. 2. Provide a sample of your weekly plan that includes goals for children's learning and development, brief description of planned learning experiences, and also accommodations for children with special needs, whether for children you currently serve or may serve in the future. (5 lessons plans, Monday-Friday, each a different subject on one selected theme)

1. Describe 9 learning experiences (lesson plan) for 3, 4 and 5 year old children (3 for three year olds, 3 for four year olds and 3 for five year olds). 2. Each learning experience should promote physical, cognitive and creative development. Describe the goals, materials & teaching strategies used. 3. Highlight age group on each lesson plan.

1. Provide the titles, authors, publishers, copyright dates, and a short summary of 10 appropriate children's books that you use to support the development of children self-concept and self-esteem and help children deal with life's challenges. 2. These books may support development of cultural & linguistic group identity; gender identity; children with disabilities or special needs; separations, divorce, remarriage or blended families; everyday activities and routines, and/or the cycle of life from human reproduction to death. 3. Include a variety of topics - Each summary should be on a separate page with copy of book cover next to summary or on following page. 4. Use a minimum of 4 sentences, in your own words for each summary.
