Playing computer games, specifically online games are not new to all people. Now that are our generation are so high in terms of gadgets, the attitude of students towards their family, their behavior at school which includes also school performance, and also we could deny the fact that many students’ nowadays are involved to playing computer games (online games). There are so many reasons why students get involved and the most important things are the effects about what they’re doing which they did not know yet. These effects may lead also to addiction that could ruin their life. Addiction, like any addiction, can creep up on a person without one being aware of it. Talk shows are full of people whose relationships have been torn apart by one partner’s computer addiction. Spending hours chatting online, surfing the web or playing computer games can cause relationships to deteriorate as other parts of a person’s life are neglected.  
A recent research study showed that some children suffer from computer rage when they are forbidden to play computer games. The results are temper tantrums and behavioral traits similar to those of an addict going cold turkey. As with most other dependencies, specific questions can be asked to assess whether or not someone may suffer from computer addiction.
According the American Psychological Association, violent video games can increase children's aggression. Dr. Phil explains, "The number one negative effect is they tend to inappropriately resolve anxiety by externalizing it. So when kids have anxiety, which they do, instead of soothing themselves, calming themselves, talking about it, expressing it to someone, or even expressing it emotionally by crying, they tend to externalize it. They can attack something, they can kick a wall, and they can be mean to a dog or a pet." Additionally, there's an increased frequency of violent responses from children who play these kinds of video games.
