Philippine Science Centrum
The tagline ‘Science Is Fun’ encapsulates what the Philippine
Science Centrum is offering to its beneficiaries. The array of exciting hands-on science exhibits displayed in various galleries has continued to amaze and tickle visitors – kids, teens, adults, students, teachers, yuppies, professionals, etc… The atmosphere of learning while having fun is evident when visitors manipulate, tinker with and try the different exhibits.

Two impact studies on PSC’s interactive exhibits were and resulted to positive conclusions.

The Impact Study of PSC done by Dr. Vivien Talisayon found out that after visiting the
Philippine Science Centrum:

Majority of the respondents (69% of elementary pupils and 57% among high school students) wanted to be engineers and scientists;
72% of elementary and 69% of high school students have increased interest in science;
74% of elementary and 66% of high school students would like to re-visit the PSC immediately

The Assessment Survey of PSC exhibits by Mrs. Elvira Galvez and Ms. Farah Galvez discovered that after interacting with the Philippine Science Centrum interactive exhibits: 

Student participants learned science concepts from the exhibits and one minute of interaction appeared to have a fruitful learning outcome.
Teachers recognized that the exhibits would be useful to their teaching after trying out the exhibits themselves and were certain the visit would help students in their academic advancement. Learning in an informal context through the exhibits can occur and that visits to the PSC are useful. For more than 2 decades, the Philippine Science Centrum presently located in Marikina City has never ceased in offering new features and exhibits year after
