How would you define personality? I believe that personality is somewhat a collection of knowledge that leads to a certain conclusion in different situations. Other theories sound good and understandable. I feel that personality is not set in stone at birth but developed over time. I approach it that way because babies of all sizes tend to all act the same way and mothers also show same characteristics of other mothers in that they all share the need and want that drives them to take care of their children; therefore, most babies as they continue to develop are in similar environments and situations as the grow. An example would be that most kids find it amusing to throw things and drop them on the floor; mothers react accordingly and pick it up to give it back only to have the child throw it again. They may find it amusing but in most cases babies have common actions about what they do and what they like.
What are some key personality features that define you? I would say that some features that would define my personality are that I can easily agree on a something and that I have extrovert tendencies.
What key concepts or “constructs” are used to explain your personality? The way I interact with other people. The way I act towards certain actions is what truly depicts my characteristics and traits.
Are your personality features consistent or do they change according to the situation? I believe my actions are based on the situation entirely. There are still similar actions that stay constant. Similar to a fight or flight system, questions are being asked about the situation and then answered giving what may or may not seem to be the appropriate response. So yes, in the...
