Personal Statement
Hospitality industry is one of the fastest – growing industries in the world and the great variety makes it a very interesting area of working. I have thought of the fascination and opportunities which this industry offers when I have been abroad, and especially when I lived one year in Australia, two years ago. I love learning about different cultures and meeting new people.
I am fond of knowing more about each sector of Hospitality industry, in which I see my future.
When it comes to interests and hobbies I have to say travelling as a good number one. I have been lucky to have seen many places at a young age, and I am always keen on meeting new people and visiting tourist destinations, as well as more unexplored destinations. Another hobby of mine is playing volleyball, in which I have participated for six years.
Dubai is the fastest growing tourism destination in the world. With so much to offer, like the beaches, the pulsating city life, the cultural sights and all the development, I find Dubai very attractive and I am looking forward to going there and seeing its beauties.
I am a reliable and positive person, who enjoys challenges and never gives up. I dream of managing a hotel, and one day, even starting one on my own. I realize how great my ambitions are, and how hard I must work to achieve them but I think it is most important to have a wish and a will. When one who has strong wishes, is self-confident and self-motivated, when she is patient and determined she can fulfill them. I know that besides these qualities I must also have skills in order to succeed in this industry in which there is such a competition. By studying hospitality management I will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to be a prosperous hospitality manager.
In ten years I imagine myself possessing a five star hotel and the first thing I should do to achieve my goal is to take this course at your university.
