Personal Plan

To have personal educational and career goals are very important. Setting goals is short term motivation for a long term vision. It helps you organize your time and your resources so that you can make the most of your life. My long term personal educational goal is to successfully finish school and begin my new career. I plan on sticking to this goal by increasing my reading and study skills. Staying focus on my work and making sure I keep my priorities intact will get me much closer to achieving my goal. My personal career goal is to be a healthcare administrator. I always wanted to work in a hospital or a clinic of some kind. I like the administrative work rather than so much hands on action work. My ideal work culture is to have a demanding job and have the chance to contribute positively to society and make a difference to people lives. My competencies, skills, and behaviors I have learn will help guide me in my academic journey. My career interest profiler results were so helpful to me. It gave me a clearer idea of what I want to do career wise. It showed me that I need to work on coping with pressure, adapting to change, and strategizing. These are some of the skills I will need working in the healthcare field. I can develop skills to help me stay on track in order to achieve success. My academic program will help me achieve my goals by giving me a foundation for the path to my career. Since I’ve been in school I find myself being a better organizer. Organizing was one of my competencies that I needed to work on. I think all of my competencies are building since I have started to pursue a degree. I know that I will need to strengthen all of my competencies
