Personal Cash Flow Statement

A personal cash flow sheet helps me organize my finances by allowing me to see exactly how much overflow is available. This cash flow sheet shows me everything on one sheet of paper so I can see exactly where my money is going. This is just like having another check register to keep up with your expenses, but in more detail. Making this cash flow sheet will easily remind a me of preparing a budget. By managing your funds, I will know if there’s sufficient income to pay for the monthly bills along with the day to day extras.

The most interesting thing that was learned from completing this worksheet is knowing exactly how much my bills are suppose to be and what I am actually paying. I am now going to be more conscious about where my cash is spent and there are also some spots where I find myself spending more in than needed. Overall, I noticed that I have not accumulated a lot of unnecessary bills.

The worksheet did give me a few ideas on how to save money for the future. When I find myself wanting to spend money on unnecessary items, I will try to walk away. I will make my automatic deduction to my saving account a little higher so that I will not have so much money to throw around on those unnecessary items. I will need to save more money for the future and for rainy days so when I am ready to buy that house I can. When I want to buy the car of my dreams, I will be able to. This will also help with my kid’s future as well. Money is something I need to invest and not throw away. [continues]
