A Person I Admire

During our life we meet a lot of people. We want to be like some of them or sometimes sever our friendly relationships because we understand that we cannot learn anything. It is very difficult to choose only one person who I admire because there were various people who I adored in different stages of my life. When I was a child, I dreamed of being a doctor like my aunt because it was interesting how she helped people or could do injections. But in my mature life, I realize that the only one person who I look up to is my mother because of her good personality and her outlook on life.

Various traits of her good personality make her the person who I value. First of all, she is problem-solver and excellent advisor. She is always besides me through my happiest and toughest times. For example, when I was younger and studied at school, if I had bad grades or did something wrong, she never punished me. At first, she listened to all my explanations, and then gave me some advice. After talking to her, I always felt relieved. Besides that, she is extremely trust-worthy that is why she is also my best friend. I can trust her with all my innermost secrets. To illustrate, in my teen years, when I wanted to go to a party or on a date and came back a little late, she allowed me to go and never told my father about that. It was only our secret. Furthermore, she is very energetic and easygoing. She can easily get along with a new company. She does not like sitting in one place. She likes to be always on the move, doing something, or creating interesting activities. In short, these are only a few qualities of her personality that I respect.

Her outlook on life has always surprised me. To begin with, she is awfully optimistic and positive. She always smiles; even she is in a bad mood. She has taught me positive thinking since I was a child. Also, she taught me to respect other people, to be a better person every day, and

The characteristic of my mother is none of what I have seen in other people .She has a unique character from my point of view. At times I view her as being a role model to me. The characteristic that I value in her is that the quick instinct that something should be done if there is a problem, her skills as being a house wife, and her reaction to a situation. One daywhile my mom was driving me to school she noticed that the car's tires lacked air and the car wasn't moving as usual then she quickly stopped at the nearest car station to get some air as she was filling the ties with she then noticed that one of the tiers had a leak. Luckily for her the gas station we were at repaired tiers after we exchanged the tiers we were on ourway to school. If it wasn't for my mother's quick instant we could have got stuck in the freeway. My mother influenced me though her unique characteristic to become what I am today a hard working person.…

A man whom I admire is Khachatur Abovyan. K. Abovyan is one of the greatest Armenian classic writers; also, educator-democrat, teacher, ethnographer, and the founder of the modern Armenian literature and new literary language. He lived in XIX century. When I was a teenager, I didn’t like to read books. However, when I once read one of Abovyan’s books, I almost fell in love with it. The reason was because his style of writing was unusual for me. At the time when he lived, Armenian classic language was very common, but he preferred to write in spoken language to reach the masses, to reach his people. His style of writing really amazed me, and he reached my thoughts.…

She’s taught me to fight for what I love and what I think is right, and I carry those lessons with me every day of my life. She and I have always been close, so a lot of my values come from her. Her encouragement to strive to become better and to work towards my goals, no matter what they are, has translated into my own personality. I find myself often encouraging my friends and the people I surround myself with to strive towards their goals instead of aiming lower. She’s taught me to value kindness and ambition, beneficence and the…

What non-fiction character can do all this? I ask you. Have you ever wanted something more? Ever wanted to make your life memorable or meaningful. You can. Why can't you do it? How many people alive today havn't been bored. Not your normal everyday bored. Not Short term bored. Bored with everything. Bored that everyday you have to get up and do the same thing. For hours. Hours piled like bricks on top of each other. These hours fueled by caffeine and fed by sleep. Lacking in excitment and spontanicity. Four walls. A floor and a roof. Yeah! Even when everything is perfect; even when you have nothing to worry about, even when your present situation is admirable at least, you may still be bored. “You can't become a decent horseman until you fall off and get up again, a good number of times.” Says he. “Oh, and as for the scars, broken bones, aching limbs and sore back I consider them just gentle reminders that life is precious - and that maybe, just maybe, I am more fragile than I dare to admit.” He said. And he quote “There's life in a nutshell.” Bear Grylls. As if to say it doesn't matter. As if to say it doesn't matter when you fall as long as you can make it back up. You can't feel good without bad, in other words.…

After thorough investigation of the stunning piece of writing entitled, “Harriet Tubman: Conductor on The Underground Railroad,” competently written by Ann Petry, I have realized that there are numerous people who were phenomenal heroes and heroines throughout history just like Harriet Tubman. They risked their lives for the safety and well being of others, expressed what they believed in, and never gave up when the obstacles they had to overcome became more and more difficult. Nelson Mandela is one of those people and I robustly admire him and what he did for his people. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela is a South African anti-apartheid activist and politician who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999, the first to be elected in a fully representative democratic election. I respect and have high regards for him so much because he is an eminent brave man of not only South Africa but around the world. He wanted his people to feel free, be safe, and treated as equal. He wanted peace, joy and happiness. He accomplished this by bringing the apartheid in South Africa to an end.…

My Grandpa is a short man, he is bald on the top of his head, smells of aftershave, and he is stern, but yet gentle, at the same time. His hugs are tight, gentle and loving. I admire my grandpa the most because of his courage and determination to make a good life here in the United States for himself and his family, instead of just coming over to the United States and expecting everything handed to him.…
