perks and perils of being a storm trooper in the 501st legion

Anthony Ambrose ENG 111 9/2/14 The Perks and Perils of Being a Storm trooper in the 501st Legion Storm troopers are the bad guys that do the bad things. They do things like guard the Emperor, capture the princess, and look for the lost blue prints to the super weapon known as the Death Star from the Star Wars movie franchise. In real life the Storm troopers of the 501st legion are actually good guys that do extremely good things including raising several million dollars a year for several charities around the world. Charities that include the Make a Wish foundation, Toys for Tots, and The Wounded Warrior Project. To become a Storm trooper in the 501st Legion, an individual must first have a love for the Star Wars movie franchise. However being a Strom trooper does have several perils, but the perks tend to outweigh them. When I decided to become a Storm trooper, the first hurdle I came across was actually finding the iconic white shining armor and all the extra things I would need to be able to complete the true Storm trooper look. Things like the proper white ankle length boots, black under suit, black gloves, and of course the blaster rifle. Using the wonderful Internet I began my search for the elusive armor. The task seemed easy enough, but once I began the search, I found that there were several people and companies out there selling the armor. The down side was that not all of them were on the level. Some of these companies would say they had what I was looking for, but I would research and find out that they were just taking people’s money and never sending out the armor. With some long research which included talking to other people in the 501st, I finally found a set of armor and everything else I needed from a vender overseas. Once it all arrived, I soon discovered that actually putting the armor together was going to be a very time consuming task. With that in mind I reached out to a friend of mine Charles who was
