Do people work better if they are paid more?
I have to say that most people will do more work if they are paid more money. That's also one of the main reasons why people seek new and better paying jobs in the working World.Sure, there is a mental and a physical limit of the amount of work that a person is able to do within a certain amount of time. Yes, there are times during the year when those limits are exceeded for a short interval. Well, if you have a reasonable employer, you will work through those busy times, knowing full well that you will catch up and return to a normal level of output.However, in the real World, many employers don't care how many hours you work for them, and they want to get as much as they can out of you before you have a nervous breakdown or physically injure yourself. Truly, it's the selfish greed of the people who manage and/or those who own the place in which you work that is the cause of that problem. If or when that happens to you, you will be in big trouble. You see, you are being used in the cruelest way possible, and if your employer isn't willing to pay more money or otherwise improve your working situation, you better find yourself another job as soon as possible. You'll get nothing more than a whole lot of grief and suffering in the future, if you don't see what's coming and take positive action before you end up homeless or deep in debt after you are fired or unable to work. Being a loyal employee is a good thing to do, but at the same time you shouldn't completely trust your boss or rely on the future success of the business in which you are working. You should also be fully aware of the opportunities available for the kind of work or service that you provide to the Business World and always seek to improve the living conditions of yourself and your family's well being.
