Automobiles or cars are one of the most prevalent means of transportation in the present world and various newer and innovative models of cars have emerged with the progress of time and enhancement of scientific technologies. Smart cars one of the recent innovations in the field of automobile engineering and it is a specialized car which makes use of artificial intelligence or AI for its functioning. These smart cars are more dependent on technology and technical skills and are aided in their functioning by computerized devices and automation technology. Our paper relates well to the current trends in modern artificial intelligence and enables the implementation of automated robotic control of the locomotive using Radio Frequency protocols and a computer.
A new form of vehicle-sharing is now appearing with a new type of vehicle: the automated vehicle. These vehicles have automated driving capabilities on an existing road infrastructure where they just need a right of way, such as a dedicated bus-lane. Of course, with the existing technologies, the speed of these vehicles is limited. Some of these vehicles can also allow for traditional manual driving in order to run among normal traffic. In these cases, the vehicles are called dual-mode and their automated capabilities allow them to be put in platoons. Eventually, this concept of dual mode vehicle which runs automatically in certain urban environment will be applied to private vehicle which will then be allowed, to have access to these restricted areas. The second section is about the literature review that covers the various sources that were needed in the implementation of the work. These include the references related to wire-less technologies, sensors and Artificial Intelligence. The third section deals with the implementation issues that cover the various scenarios handled during the over-all implementation of the work. The technologies used and hardware involved in the work are mentioned. The fourth section is result analysis where a comparison between an artificially intelligent car and a normal car is done. The overall analysis of the performance is done. The fifth section covers the conclusion and future work where future technologies that can be implemented on this platform are stated.
2. RELATED WORKS
This section explains about the methods and also the applications that are used for this work. It is about learning the theory and background knowledge on the methods which are important to understand completely the various aspects in designing this paper.
This car is implemented using two major aspects Robotics  and Artificial Intelligence .Once the direction (arrow keys) buttons are pressed in the computer the command will be transmitted to the system through full duplex radio frequency transmitter received by a receiver that controls the car by analyzing the data and move the car accordingly. Also an ultrasonic sensor is built with the system which provides the artificial intelligence to the car, by instructing it regarding the obstacles on its way.
