Patton- Fuller Community Hospital is known for the specialties it provides and being a not-for-profit health care organization since, their opening in 1975. The main trend the hospital provides is high quality health care to all patients. The specialized services provided by Patton-Fuller Community Hospital are surgery, emergency medical care, physical therapy, labor and delivery, radiology, and more. In Kelsey, Patton-Fuller Community Hospital is the first hospital, dedicated at the hospital is to provide a variety of programs that will support and maintain the best health and welfare of the local community populations (Apollo Group, 2010).
      The Community Hospital facility is using a high-end organizational structure to establish the goals of the business and from an IT network perspective including logical network, administration network details, radiology, RIS data center, and IT data center. With a use of a variety of different network systems to support, the business needs. Moreover, and to be more specific the hospital currently uses a Local Area Network (LAN) based on 1000 Base T using CAT 6 cable standard within the hospital with other certain departments using a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) standard routed to the same network bridge as the administration departments (Apollo Group, 2010).
The Network at Patton-Fuller Community Hospitals is segmented into two segments are connected by a network bridge. Administrative functions are one of the segments and the second is clinical functions. The administrative function segment, which all nodes are attached to, are transmitting 1000 Base T and physically connected with a CAT 6 cable.
