Do you think parents should bribe there kids because of discipline or just to get their children to like them? Do you know someone who as bribed their children, just to satisfy a them? There are plenty of parents that take it to that level. The problem is, there is also a limit on that kind of situation. Bad parenting exist in today’s society, and that has to change. Parents that overly bribe their children will make their child spoiled, unappreciative, and disrespectful.

Spoiling a child can be a negative thing or a positive. If you have proper parenting skills, you will spoil your child for their accomplishments. A parent that is lacking those skills are the ones that reward or bribe their children for their unacceptable behavior. A couple examples for rewards would be, getting good grades, helping around the house, or sport activities that reward kids for their participation. Negative bribes are for the parent that reward their child just for them to be quiet, stop crying, or to be respectful. It has been stated that some parents bribe there kids for there actions in public places to sleeping in there own beds at night. Turning a child into a spoiled brat is something that plenty of parents will regret.

A child should not be bribed for bad behavior. Its gives them the sign that their horrible behavior is accepted. This child would not be appreciative of nothing. They would not understand the hard work that it takes to be appreciated. Age or gender is blind to an unappreciative child. For example, bribery is not appropriate just because a temper tantrum is thrown in public. A parent should know how to control their child. A great definition for bribery is something, such as money, gifts, candy, or a favor, offered or given to a person in a position of trust to influence that person's views or conduct.
