If one takes responsibility for himself he will develop a hunger to accomplish his dreams. (Les Brown) Responsibility is a trait that a human should start to develop starting from his childhood. In addition, it is proved that anyone who started taking responsibility at a young age excelled in life better than a dependant person. All of this is the duty of parents who need give chances to their children to learn from their mistakes to become more mature. In my opinion, parents should let their teenagers make their own decisions because it helps them in knowing what is right from wrong in the future and to help them in becoming more self-confident.
“The price of greatness is responsibility.” ― Winston Churchill Parents always need to assist their teenagers in understanding their own experience of life so that they base their decisions on theirs. When they finish this duty, they will feel free from worry in letting their children make their own choices. As their broods start making small decisions at a young age, they will become accustomed in facing the big decisions of the future and making them right. As they make one decision after another they will start feeling as if it is something really easy to do and unconsciously make them correct. In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing. (Theodore Roosevelt). Our world is at the crossroads. We have a choice, right and wrong. (LL Cool J) Only by taking responsibility for oneself, to the greatest extent possible, can one ever be free, and only a free person can make responsible choices - between right and wrong, saving and spending, giving or taking (Paul Ryan). In summation, parents are obliged to let their teenagers make their own decisions because it helps them in making the right ones when they grow up.
