Having Peace in Life
Dealing with a relative death is a hard issue that we all have to face at some point in life.
Death is a word that many of us don’t like to discuss or even think about it. Life is a privilege
that the Lord has given to us, and many people take it for granted. Enjoying the memories of
your love ones after they have passed away is the only thing you will have. For Susan Wolf it
was a struggle to see her father fight for his life in a hospital, and it took courage for both of
them to make the right decision.
Dealing with my father death it was the hardest think that I have ever done in life.
Remembering all the good times that we had together is the only thing that I have. My father was
the hardest working man that I have ever known, I grew up watching him leave to work and
come home late from his job. My father was a man that always put his family before himself. I
really didn’t get to spend much time with my father growing up because he always had to work
two jobs in order to support us. But, when he had the free time he always spent it with his family,
to this day I still remember the smell of freshly cut grass on him when he walked in the house. At
times I do smell it; I believe it’s my father standing next to me.
When reading the Story of Susan Wolf I felt the grief and pain that she was going through
watching her father slowly passing away. It something that no one really knows how you feel
until it actually happens. So many thoughts are running through your mind and trying to keep
yourself together for your father sake. To see your father lying in hospital bed feeling helpless is
the hardest thing that you will ever see in life. Susan and I can relate on the difficulty on losing
our love ones. When reading how Susan fought to stay strong while watching her father going
through so much pain brought back memories. To see your father laying in a hospital bed and
