Palace of Thailand
The title I was given is Palaces of Thailand. There are many palaces in Thailand each with their own unique design and stories behind it. Of course the most important palace in Thailand is Bangkok’s Grand Palace. For many, a visit to the Grand Palace is an absolute essential when in Thailand. Besides that, there is also the Bang Pa-In Palace and Phraram Ratchaniwet Palace just to name a few. However, out of the many palaces in Thailand, I have chosen the Maruekhathaiyawan Palace. If given this title, Palaces of Thailand, most people would probably choose the Grand Palace as it is the main palace and the pride of Thailand. When I searched for Palaces of Thailand in the Internet, Maruekhathaiyawan Palace caught my eyes almost instantly. It was one of the most beautiful palaces I have seen. It is unique in its own way and is so different from all the palaces that I have seen. This palace is not visited often and is not as famous as the Grand Palace but I can assure you that you will not regret visiting the Maruekhathaiyawan Palace. Maruekhathaiyawan Palace features beautiful gardens and architecture. The buildings are well maintained. With its royal resort atmosphere, visiting the site will give you a sense of relaxation. If you have the time, this is a great place to wander around.
The Maruekhathaiyawan Palace is actually a summer palace or also known as a seaside palace as it is just beside the beach. It is also known as the Palace of Love and Hope. When you first look at the palace you would think it looks more like a resort than a palace. That was what caught my attention when I saw the palace. It is located in between Cha-am and Hua Hin in the Petchaburi province. It was built in 1923 under the royal command of King Rama VI using golden teakwood from the demolished Hat Chao Samran Palace. Maruekhathaiyawan Palace was built by King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) as a seaside summer retreat. Originally, the King had a Palace built on Hat Chao Samran beach, a little more

The Palace of Versailles is located at Versailles, France, and was built in 1631 in the order of Louis XIII. It has served as the royal palace and numerous other purposes. It now serves as a museum of French history. Versailles is a Chateau which in French means, castle. It started as a hunting lodge built for King Louis XIII in 1624. Louis XIV (The Sun King) built Versailles to be his home. To Louis XIV, a magnificent palace was a must for royal life. All of the kings and nobles had to have wonderfully decorated palaces, with beautiful paintings, ballrooms, and expensive furniture. In order for Louis XIV to have such a wonderful palace he hired an architect names Le Vau and a painter/decorator named Charles le Brun. These two men made plans to build a palace that would, including gardens, cover a total of 37,000 acres. Over the period of time that they built the palace, 400 new sculptures were added along with 1,400 fountains. (Still that was not enough for King Louis XIV).…

The reason revenue decline in year 2009 is probably is the side effect of the bad economy during end of year 2008. For Landmarks Berhad, their business decline for three years continuously. This shows that their management level is not done their job perfectly. The average revenue for year 2008 should be higher than the previous year; this is happened on the Shangri-La Hotels but not on Landmarks Berhad. They could use the bad situation of our economy as the main reason for the decline in revenue for year 2009 but not for year 2008.…
