Understand child and young person development Your assessed task for this unit is explained below. Your completed task should be uploaded on EDI and your Assessor will give you feedback (usually within 5 working days). The time (e.g. 1 hour) which you will see next to each task, is a guide to how long the task should take you to complete. This excludes research and reading time which you will need to do in addition to ensure you have sufficient subject knowledge. Please remember the suggested times are only a guide and each learner will work at their own pace. However, please try not to spend 2 hours on a task which should take 30 minutes.
Don’t forget you can find a breakdown of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria relating to each task in the qualification specification or in your EDI eportfolio.
