Owning a Car
Owning a Car

Car ownership is an important part of life for people. Owning a car has many advantages and definitely brings people with a lot of convenience. First, it can help people move things, such as move items to a new home. There are lots of different furniture or some items in someone’s home, so people can just put everything into boxes and load into car to transport them. Also, it is very convenient for buying groceries. Sometimes, people may buy lots of large bags of foods in a supermarket, and then need to carry them to their homes. Thus people will need a form of transportation to carry them. In addition, owning a car can lead to more chances to spend time together with friends, because people do not need to take public transport to go meet them. They can also have pleasure trips with others, and you will have more privacy while travelling using your own vehicle for transportation. Moreover, they can save many hours on traveling to a distant destination. Personally, I think taking public transportation potentially wastes a lot of time. If someone needs to take it, it could take a lot of time to wait for it. Also, you may not arrive at your destination on time, because there are many stops on the way. If you go to the work or school in a hurry, it is also useful to own a car to save time. I think that owning a car could not only make life easier, but also make it more

Okay, I'll admit this one is more subjective. It is my personal view and I cannot back it up with research, but I believe that cars remove from society a very important forum for interaction, the sidewalk. In cities where more people walk than drive, the sidewalks become a place where you might actually stop to help someone or say hi to a friend. Imagine if we behaved on the sidewalk how we behave in our cars. Most people would be walking around with headphones on, not looking at other people, and would curse and flip-off anyone that stepped in front of them (okay so maybe New York sidewalks are already like this, but its not the same everywhere).…

Public transit you get the convenience to do what you want for whatever time it takes you to travel. The biggest problems with public transportation may be you have to plan schedule around the schedule of the transit system. Many times it may be dirty, unsanitary and often very crowded. Also there are possibility of crimes. Another problem when choosing public transportation as you mode of transportation is it is not exact which means you could have to walk to get to your destination, and in the winter with frigid temperatures, that is not ideal. Bike Versus Car

A bike is somewhat similar to the car though. Bikes move just like a car does, on wheels. They both have some kind of way of controlling the direction of travel. They both also have lights for night time trips. The bike has a bell which is similar to the horn in a car. They are both used for transportation and carrying things. As you can see cars and bikes are somewhat alike, but they are also different. I would pick a bike over a car because it helps me to take care of my health on a regular basis by giving me exercise. Using this method of transportation is also much cheaper financially and it fits my budget. Hopefully, one day the economy will get better so affording a car will be much easier for me in my everyday…

My Grandma was raised having a horse as her main source of traveling. However, things have greatly changed over the past few generations. Now days, the car is themain form of transportation for the majority of people. Everyone has at least one car. This has been a pretty important transformation for the world. The invention of cars haschanged the entire world. With the car people can have a simple form of transportation. Also, it was made possible for people to travel long-distances. It has opened manydoors for new inventions.First of all, the invention of the car has made transportation extremely simple. Before the car, people had to most likely walk or ride a horse to where they wanted togo. Now, they can take a car. This has made transportation a lot faster than it was in thepast. A car can go over one hundred miles an hour, when a person walks extraordinarilyslow. The car also caters to people's needs more. If someone has an injured leg, theycan still drive, but they most likely couldn't walk somewhere. The car has made peoplemore independent in this way. They can rely on themselves to get to where they need tobe. This is especially important when it comes to health care. Around fifty years ago, ifsomeone needed to go to the hospital it wasn't an easy task. The country wasn't asdeveloped so a hospital wasn't very close. Not only this, but they would have to walk tothe hospital, ride a horse, or have the doctor make a house call. It would take a longtime to get to the hospital and many people died because of this. Cars make it possibleto travel faster, so people's needs can get taken care of sooner. In addition, cars make long-distance travel possible. In the olden days, if onewanted to go to a different state they would probably take a horse drawn carriage.Horses can only go so fast. Not only this, but they get tired and need rest, and theyneed food breaks. A car does not sleep or eat. A car can go as long as there is gas. Forthis reason, cars can cover massive…

I think that life would really change if there were not cars in the world .Nowadays , transportation is very important in our life . People use the cars to go to work , to send their children to their school , or to get to their destination in a very fast way. You can find many reasons why cars are good and bad. If you begin listening to five out of ten people some may say that it might been better if they were never invented and the rest of them might say that this is the the best thing that ever happened to them. Let`s begin thinking that they were never invented. Many of us don`t live very close to our work or our university and we use our cars to get there . But this means a lot of expenses , such as gas , repairs and so on . If we didn`t have to use our cars we would probably use walking , cycling or even having a horse. I think if we walked more , it would be healthier for us , and also a very big problem, that is the obesity will disappear. The obesity problem , is a growing problem , just because people tend to get lazy and think instead of walking even a short distance they prefer talking their car. Using a bicycle will also be healthier to us , because it is even better than walking , for most of us who don`t have time to practice a sport or go to the gym it is the perfect way to stay in shape. For those of us who think ok I will go work by bicycle , but who likes a man that just got to work and is already sweating ? There is a proper solution to this , as people used as transportation long time ago , horses and carriages , it won`t be a problem using them again. In this way we wouldn`t have people hunting for a parking place , we wouldn`t have parking fees ,…
