Ans.The hunter-gatherers travelled from one place to another because:-

❖ In search of food.
❖ Animals moved from place to place in search of smaller prey or in search of grasslands. ❖ People moved from season to season in search of different kinds of plants. ❖ They moved in search of water that is very essential.

Now-a-days people travel for different reasons. They usually travel for picnics, business purposes, meet their friends and relatives and visit places for leisure.
