Climate change represents one of the greatest environmental, social and economic threats facing the planet. Climate change is a reality. Today, our world is hotter than it has been in two thousand years, and we are experiencing faster sea level rises and more extreme weather than scientists had previously predicted. By the end of the century, if current trends continue, the global temperature will likely climb higher than at any time in the past two million years. Global warming has been increasing the average temperature of earth its ocean and its air since the 20th century. In general global warming was caused by increasing concentration of greenhouse gasses. Greenhouse gasses greatly affect the temperature of the earth, it keeps earth warm but due to human activity fossil fumes, burning and the deforestation the greenhouse gasses become more and more abundant. Global warming is melting ice in the north and the South Pole sending the ice water into the ocean changing the salinity and making sea levels rise. Thus changing the ocean currents. If the ocean current changes the climate of the entire world may become disastrous, for example tsunami, storms and tornadoes. All which will continue to increment if we cannot solve the global warming crisis, not to mention how this can affect our economic and social systems. If global warming continues to affect the environment it seems doubtless that it will not only be a major physical event but also economic event. By far the economic factor affected by global warming will be the augural cultural factor. This is because global warming is projected to cause serious disruption in the weather, which will have a domino effect on other factors it is predicted that global warming will seriously affect the amount of rainfall that certain augural cultural receive yearly. Without rainfall augural culture is simply impossible and costly.
