Prof. Fe Lina Salting
We have taken efforts in this project. However, it would not have been possible without the kind support and help of many individuals and organization. First and Foremost, We would like to thank Jesus Christ for giving us the opportunity to learn and listen, for teaching us to stand from stumbling down, for inspiring and for being with us in every action that we do. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our English Professor, Prof. Fe Lina Salting for giving us priceless trust and supervision behind the making of this valuable term paper. Without her, we can do nothing: She serves as a mentor as well as a great leader in directing the tasks to each and everyone. Through her instructions and teachings, we made everything possible in doing this work. To the OFM’s specially Fr. Albert Sekito and Fr. Marcelo Ponpon, they’ve been nice to us and they were willing to be interviewed. We would also take the immense pleasure to Jothon Dominic Reyes, Michael del Castillo and Ronald de Vera for allowing us to get enough information about Our Lady of Angels Seminary, for trusting us and for telling us their great stories and significant experiences, the Security Guard who didn’t wanted to mention his name, we dedicate our deepest gratitude for greatly permitting us to enter the Seminary. We dedicate this Term Paper to our loved ones, our Family who has been supportive throughout, our friends for sharing their ideas to us and to our English Professor, Prof. Fe Lina Salting.
Our research will tackle the following:
∙Mission, Vision and Goals

II. OUR LADY OF ANGELS SEMINARY
A. BRIEF HISTORY OF OUR LADY OF THE ANGELS SEMINARY

Aloysius Ma.Contreras, OFM is the person behind the successful formation of Our Lady of Angels Seminary through the help of Minister General, Fr. Augustine Sepinski. They owned a seven-hectare land that is located at Bagbag , Novaliches Quezon City on which three storey building with seventy-two living quarters, four class rooms and a laboratory, a basement chapel and an adjacent refectory was constructed and ready for occupancy on June 1952. According to Fr. Albert Sekito, Seminary was named Our Lady of Angels because Saint Francis of Assisi loved a little place called Portiuncula, this was the place where Saint Francis founded his Order by divine inspiration and it was divine providence which led him to repair three churches before he founded the Order and began to preach the Gospel. It was built to honor Virgin Mary, Francis embraced the Mother of Our Lord Jesus with indescribable love because, as he said, it was she who made the Lord of majesty our brother, and through her we found mercy. After Christ, he put all his trust in her and took her as his patroness for himself and his friars. The seminary was blessed by Fr. Augustine Sepinski on February 1963 together with the provincials of five Franciscan regional communities in the Philippines. It was then the time when the first teachings were brought.
B. VISION, MISSION AND GOALS
