A Measurement Tool for the Evaluation of Organizational Leadership Capability Abstract
The article explains how to design a tool to evaluate organizational leadership capability. Organizational leadership capability is extremely important when trying to improve organizational performance. The author explains how important it is to have a high organizational performance for the success of the organization in the long run. The article focuses on the relationships between organizational members. It explains that it is not solely on the organizational leaders, but also the member of the organization. The collective contribution of all members is the key factor to the success of any organization for the long term. The author explains that when an organization uses collective contributions, the organization will see success in the present and the future. The first portion of the article focuses on factors that affect organizational leadership. The second part summarizes these factors. The end of the article explains the results that were found and why these factors are important to the success of an organization. The article starts off by stating the obvious, “Organizational leadership is important for improving organizational performance.” (Maaja 121). Examining only the leadership side of the organization will not give us the true facts of how an organization succeeds. I am in total agreement with the author of the article. The collective level is a very important tool to use in an organization. Feedback is given all different types of levels of the organization. The collective level brings the reader to understand the three different types of leadership dynamics. I chose to focus my attention to the three different types of leadership dynamics and the different viewpoints they possess.
