Organizational Behavior Forces Discussion

Learning Team C performed a comparison on internal and external forces for each member’s organization. Team C has five students, each employed within unlike organizations. The organizations involved in the discussion included; a bank, wireless service provider, Wal-Mart, a restaurant, and juvenile court. The analysis will include the following external and internal forces: restructuring, organizational mission, fiscal policies, competition, the economy, customer demands, and globalization. The purpose of this paper is to supply information from that analysis and explain how some external and internal forces have bearings on these five organizations and the behavior within each.
    Organization restructuring strategies help organizations obtain the most from people when significantly changes occur by developing a plan. For example, organizations restructuring take place in an organization to help in the structure of the organization functions. In the banking business restructuring or managing a banking crisis can be a very difficult task. Many times decisions are made quickly, more likely right in the middle of the crisis. Example Wal-Mart had to restructure the way they met setting goals the organization was not meeting sale goals.
    The mission statement is a description of the organizations purpose and each statement is different from organization to organization. For example juvenile court mission statement is to promote the protection and safety of the child, family, and community by means of treatment and supervision. The mission is to serve fresh pizza in a timely fashion and have pizza ready in the window at all times of the day; making sure to keep the main focus on quality as a standard so our customers always receive the best pizza for their money.
