This study evaluates and presents the experiences and difficulties of distance care. It is new and complex. These caregivers expressed similar concerns as local caregivers. Having to depend on second hand information increased their anxiety. The majority of the participants agreed on the need for better communication with doctors and nurses and a direct talk with health care professional. This study indicated that distance caregivers would benefit from nursing interventions that are geared towards their specific
