Ordinance for the admission of foreign students at the
Faculty of Engineering, University of Rajshahi
A. Eligibility of Foreign Students for admission in B. Sc. Engineering program at the Faculty of Engineering, Rajshahi University
(1) Applicants must possess Non-Bangladeshi nationality.
(2) Applicants must have completed a standard 12-year course curriculum outside Bangladesh before the enrollment at University of Rajshahi.
(3) Applicants must pass the standard school certificate examinations having at least 60% marks or equivalent grades.
(4) Applicants must apply within 2-years from the date of completion of the standard 12-year course curriculum (Maximum break of study is 2-years).
(5) Applicants must have at least 60% marks or equivalent grades in each of the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the last standard school certificate examination.
(6) Applicants should have sufficient English proficiency to understand lectures at the University of Rajshahi during the undergraduate program.
B. Fees and Scholarship
(1) There is no application processing fee.
(2) Tuition Fees: USD 300 per academic year for applicants of SAARC member countries and African countries, and USD 500 per academic year for applicants of other countries.
(3) Accommodation fees are USD 125 per year for applicants of SAARC member countries and African countries, and USD 250 per year for applicants of other countries.
(4) There might be a limited number of scholarships available to supplement the tuition and accommodation fees, and will be notified to the applicants after successful enrollment at University of Rajshahi.
C. Required Documents for Provisional Admission
(1) Completed Application Form.
(2) Photocopies of original certificates and transcripts of all the standard school certificate examinations. If the original certificates and transcripts are not written in English, then the applicant must also submit the official English
