Technologies play a big part in our society today. Business industries especially those multi-million companies that deal with so many transactions require accuracy and efficiency of data that are made possible by computers.
Today, computers take front seat in the corporate world and businessmen rely on them to keep records, do heavy duty computations, make promising proposals, and so much more. In fact, it would be unimaginable not to have computers in doing all these.
Computers are being upgraded as time goes by. Life would be so much more complicated without them. It can be seen everywhere and it could accomplish every task it was programmed to do. In the coming future, it would not be so surprising if computers would already run the world.
Computer literacy is vital because companies, schools, hospitals, and institutions use computers. Therefore, if one is ignorant, he/she could easily be deceived. In addition to that, he/she would be made fun of. Even little children are being taught how to use computers.
Mega Source Scientific Supplies started its business in year 2009. This company deals with chemical laboratory equipment and most of its clients are schools. Its clients place their orders through fax, telephone or by email with the payment made upon receipt of the ordered items. They use manual systems in every facet of their operations and these require a lot of paperwork.
The proponents recommend the development of an online ordering system for efficient, accurate and faster ordering transaction together with a product inventory system to organize the list of the products, and avoid loss of products in the inventory and lists of orders.
