Create a Flow Chart

Design a Flowchart for a process.

Everyday we all do the same type of routine to get up and get ready for work or your day.   I though, have two children to also incorporate into that morning routine.   At the present time, I am not doing a very good job at getting my children and myself ready on time to make it to work on time.   Thus, this is a great thing to take a look at what I am doing on a daily basis and what I can do to make my process more efficient.   Creating a flow chart or an easy-to-understand diagram showing how steps in a process fit together. The act of mapping a process out in flow chart format helps you clarify your understanding of the process, and helps you think about where the process can be improved.   Flow charts will help me use my time more wisely and make sure that I am on time to my job everyday.  
The following items affect the process design in my daily preparation for work:
  1. Is my outfit ironed and ready to be worn?
  2. Are the children’s diaper bags packed?
  3. Is my lunch prepared?
  4. Is my children’s clothes picked out?
These four steps have a major impact on the amount of time it takes for me to get ready and out the door in the morning.
The following items in the process design do not have a major impact on the efficiency and are done on a daily basis with no fluctuation:
  1. Brush Teeth
  2. Take a shower
  3. Fix hair
  4. Get dressed
  5. Do makeup
  6. Put on shoes
  7. Put on jewelry
The metric used to measure this process will be time.
