1. Introduction
One of the keys to social justice within business is to ensure that the workplace remains a place of diversity.  Not only does this ensure recognition of basic rights and liberties, but it also creates an atmosphere of trust that is often lacking between company and consumer. One theory requires leveraging diversity in order to attract new customers.  By building a diverse team of employees, a business will be better able to reach specific audiences.  Staffing a corporation with one demographic would make it very hard to connect with anyone outside of that demographic. Businesses must gain a clear understanding of what diversity means before they can implement a strategy to get it. Following is the definition of Diversity within groups. How do managers create diversity as well as how do they manage diversity once it has been established. Discussion on current state of diversity management from group members’ organizations is also evaluated and recommendations included. 2. Concept of diversity within groups

Diversity is a perceived difference among people, age, functional speciality, profession, sexual orientation, and geographic origin, and life style, tenure with the organisation or position. Group’s diversity is defined as the distribution of personal attributes such as gender, race or age of a social entity such as group, department or organisations. These diversity attributes have also been considered cognitively accessible, pervasive and immutable and are typically associated with social categorization process. Some aspects of diversity have been associated with positive outcomes while other diversity attributes are either non-significantly or even negatively associated with performance outcomes. Group diversity can jointly or independently influence performance based on two primary processes categorization and elaboration. Categorization based process involves the social categorization of similar individuals as out-group members which leads to inter-group bias that can have huge impact on the team performance. Elaboration-based process includes the exchange of information and perspectives among group members, individual level of information processing, gaining feedback and integrating information and perspectives.
