CHAPTER ONE Online Rent Payment System For Apartments
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The research problem is all about the issue of collection of money for rent by the so-called Agents on behalf of the owners who are the Landlords. The agents are also responsible for meeting new potential clients who are in the pursuit of renting houses. In these regards, the current system being deployed in making for these payment of rent has being in use for a wide period of time. Clients also find themselves having a hard time, moving from one premise to another looking for vacant apartments and houses for rent. So, it would have been better for the landlords or owners of these premises to look upon a new way of making sure that, the old method used by these agents is averted and a new technology incorporated to handle every bit of hitches caused by the old manual method. Agents are known to move from door to door to demand for payments at the end of every month and these method has its setbacks.
1.1 RESEARCH PROBLEM
The research is based on the method used to make payments for rent of apartments and how clients get in touch with agents when they want to inquire for vacant rooms. The apartments managed by Muigai and Ng’otho agents around pipeline area in Nakuru is one of the area I looked upon in respect to this to this research. The properties are owned Somo investments who also venture in Oil Transport services. Through observation, the agents have been going around looking for the occupants of these rentals houses and apartments. The method they’re using is obsolete according to the technological advancements that are in place
