Abstract The study is being conducted to yield solutions to the present problems of the current system which is common in many government educational library which was identified as manual recording of books and the information of the borrowers.
It focuses on studying and evaluating the current methods of the librarians/staff in managing their book records and their way in recording the students’ information through the use of database system. This was the result as mentioned previously and the basis of the encountered problems of the researcher.
The study aims to develop an Online Library Registration System that will cater all the needs of the students in terms of reading and researching purposes. The researchers made a comparison between the current and proposed system in terms of usability, reliability and efficiency.
