Online Student Portal
Introduction:
This user guide is designed to provide information necessary to use student portal. This portal is for those students who are studied in university. You can’t login if you are not got admission in university. Students will be able to view their own university information from anywhere they have access to the Internet. The portal is accessible from either on or off campus. This is helpful for the students to add/drop courses online, check fee details, enrollment detail, attendance detail, time table, semester calendar, exam components, date sheet and also know their batch advisor.

Purpose:
The purpose of user guide is to help students to check their semester progress online at any time.

How to use it:
You want to use the student portal simply follow these simple steps and you learn how to use it.
You must have student id generated by university. When you use it first time after you have to get admission in university, the password is also generated by lab admin.

Login Page:
First you access the login page to see information. You must type times.gift.edu.pk in
URL (Uniform Resource Locator) or address bar.

When you access the page, you have to enter your student id and password. You must be sure that you are entering a correct id and password. Once you entered student id and password click on login button.

Once you logged in, the next home page will appear.

Change Password:
Once logged in, students can change their password using the change password option.
To change the password you have to click on an option button.

Then click on change password button.

Next screen will appear to change the password. You have to type current password
(previous password) and then type new password you want to save. You can only type 8 characters maximum in the password field. If characters are exceeding to 8 characters, password will not save or an error will be shown.

Enrollment Detail:
Enrollment detail is to see information about courses and its credit hours, sections and enrollment date in which student enroll in the courses.
Students register their courses online and to check courses are register or not, click on student info button.

Click on Enrollment detail.

The enrollment detail window will appear and registered courses have been shown.

Sign out:
If you want to sign out from student portal, click on option button.

Then click on sign out option.

After sign out again login page will appear.
