Online Versus Face-To-Face Education

The key for happiness is now available in the computer store. Go quickly and take it. After you take it, don’t forget to thank me! Nowadays, computers became one of the essential parts in our life. Yet, they will become more valuable if we consider them as a means for getting high certificates. After the emergence of the internet in the 1990s, electronic learning became important and then grew quickly (Root User, 2006). Many American companies then started to let their employees take the advantage of using the online education instead of the traditional way, or face-to-face, learning as well as delivering business information (2008).
There is no doubt that studying in the United States is better than studying in anywhere else. For this reason, many employees who work and live in another country are perplexed because they want to go for higher education to the United States, but they do not want to lose their jobs. In fact, they have only two options: online education and on campus education. However, many experienced peopled recommend online learning instead of traditional learning for three main reasons: flexibility, less money for the same quality, and a guarantee to keep the existing job.
Education that occurs outside of schools or universities is called Distance Learning or E-Learning. “The concept of e-learning is almost as old as the commercial computer industry. Early systems were first introduced in the 1970s, with lessons delivered over slow dedicated networks or programmed onto special computers” (Root User, 2006). This type of education appeared as a result of students’ needs. Then, with the help of the internet in the mid of the 1990s, e-learning began to be a successful way of education.
