India is one of the leading exporter of software and software enabled services. It manly started with introduction of computers in India in mid eighties. In this project we trying to research about market for share point software services in New England area of U.S. Microsoft SharePoint is a web application platform developed by Microsoft. First launched in 2001,SharePoint is typically associated with web content management and document management systems, but it is actually a much broader platform of web technologies, capable of being configured into a wide range of solution areas. SharePoint is designed as a broad, central application platform for common enterprise web requirements. SharePoint's multi-purpose design allows for managing and provisioning of intranet portals, extranets, websites, document & file management, collaboration spaces, social tools, enterprise search, business intelligence, process integration, system integration, workflow automation, and core infrastructure for third-party solutions. SharePoint's core infrastructure is also suited to providing a base technology platform for custom developed applications. SharePoint is capable of supporting multiple organizations on a single 'server farm'. Microsoft provides SharePoint Foundation at no cost, but sells premium editions with additional functionality,] and also provides SharePoint as a service in their cloud computing as part of their Office 365 platform (and previously as part of their Business Productivity Online Standard Suite (BPOS) offering). The product is also sold as a cloud solution by many third-party vendors. In this project I am trying to research I am trying to study return on investment trough on line advertisement and branding exercise for Trigent software pvt. Ltd. I am trying to understand Investment by trigent on online line adds will translate into how much return .I am trying to know that on line add exercise and branding will help trigent in getting new client in U.S. for share point services.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVES AND METHODOLOGY
Research objective of this marketing research is to find how the enterprise in U>S. market select their I.T. vendor’s. Is different segment of business like insurance, finance, manufacturing and others use different strategies or same. Which online websites will be good for advertisements or which websites surfed to select the it vendor’s so that Trigent can use those for its branding and add campaign in U.S. market or whole North America.
