I cannot finished my On-The-Job Training (OJT) without the support and assistance of many. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the following: To the Ridgewood Residence Hotel/Apartelle Management, especially to my trainers: Mr. Deslie Torres, Mr. Arvin Calica, Ms. Patricia Rayos and to the General Manager Ms. Rita R. Kalalang, for their patience, in training me what are my responsibilities as front desk clerk and admin assistant, since I was assigned at that department. To our training coordinator Mr. Emmanuel S. Mayrina, our OIC of HRM Department Mrs. Gina Gironella for allowing me to take my On-The-Job Training at the said establishment. To my fellow trainees: Faye, Leah, Liezel, Erick, Reynan, Ronald and Peewee for the company we’ve shared, for making my training more enjoyable and fun. To my family, especially my mom for the moral and financial support she gave me. And lastly, to our Creator for giving me strength and courage to overcome the challenges that I’ve encountered in taking my On-The-Job Training.

God is really great. I am very grateful for giving me a very good mother as my mom, since my dad had passed away. For those encouraging words she had given me in order to finished and succeed on this On-The-Job Training I’ve undergone. I thank her for such kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity. I thank her for her unconditional love. Finally, I’ll be graduating and that’s because of you. I dedicate this to my sisters, although we have usual misunderstanding, I am still grateful for having you as my sisters, for always being there. To my Aunt and Lola, for being my guardians while mama is in abroad, for being so supportive to us.
To valued friends, who will always be my friends, for the happy moments and for not letting me down.

I N T R O D U C T I O N
On-The-Job Training (OJT) is a part of our curriculum that every HRM students should undergo and comply with it. It is a training for us to apply what we have learned inside the classroom.
Training refers to the acquisition of knowledge skills and competencies as a result of practical skills which is taught in the four wall of a room. It is to upgrade and update skills throughout the working place.
On-the-Job Training (OJT) is the best training methods because it is planned, organized and conducted in an actual workplace, it familiarize us students to the equipment and facilities will be using on our future job. It aims to train and orient us as a student about the work and our future career. OJT is very important not only to teach us to our chosen career but to show us the reality about working. It is to place participants (trainees) in occupations that will enhance our prospects for long-term employment and will ultimately permit us to become self-sufficient. OJT involves the acquisition of specific skills and employment competencies, through exposure in an actual work setting, to the processes, work tasks, tools and methods of a specific job or group of jobs.
