Observation Paper

The individual that I chose to observe and write this observation I observed for one month.   I have known this individual for 15 years but never really took the time to observe his behavior.   This is a 40-year old African American male with medium build.   He has been in the U.S. Navy for two years but was discharged because he had a pattern of misconduct.   While in the service, he claimed he was a young female sailor fall off the ship and states he almost fell himself.   This incident in the service left him with a disorder called PTSD.   Gestlalt therapy would have been a good choice for him because he would have bad dreams at times and wake up in the middle of the night to take a shower.   While in the shower I noticed he would be talking to himself and a carrying a full fledge conversation like someone was in the shower talking with him.     When he was a child, his parents also owned a janitorial business.   In 2005, his mother was diagnosed with Schizoprenia but shortly thereof, she passed away.   His father was also diagnosed with a schizoaffective disorder.     This individaula has layers of neruosso before he can reach self actualization according to Carl rogers and mslow.   I believe from this observation he was looking for a mother figure.   Adler said it not ggod.. His mother sheltered him.   The stage od evelpment   he had trouble with trust vs. mistrust.     He never showed any emotions abou.   He hsold be in Intimacy versus isolation with regard to relationship.   This individual was single with no children of his own.   He slept in all day alomost the entir time he lived with me I did not see him physically interact with any female camponions. N t his parents.   They had been married 25 years.   This affected him but he showd no emotions.   I alsonotice he had trouble paying bills   becaude he has   The impact of his childhood has had a negative ….on his [eronality.   He does not show any emotions and does not like to clean behind himself.   Projection, into.   I asked...
