Executive Summary
The study of organizational behavior is very interesting and challenging. It is mostly related to the individuals or group of people working together in teams. The study becomes interesting when situation factors come into play and no two individuals behave alike. Mangers are to predict the behavior of an individual and there are no absolutes in human behavior. This research is an insight of the researchers, management practitioners, psychologists, and social scientists understanding of an individuals’ behavior. Theories show that cause and relationship play an important role in the individuals’ behavior and impact on efficiency. Recent trends show that greater stress on organizational development and absorbing a organizational culture in each individual. Further on it is seen that job satisfaction is a major factor to analyze performance and satisfied workers are more productive and they build an appropriate work culture in an organization. In this report Tesco is considered as a major example to show the motivational management theory in practice. Many aspects of motivation are taken into consideration, but to do it in reality in a perfect manner is the challenge and development can be made at any stage in an organization.

Introduction
The study of organizations, among other interesting matters, includes the type of technology the company uses, its expertise, the type of contracts established with its employees, the forms of control, levels of socialization, the obvious and understood rules which make the behavior of managers and other members of the organization predictable, and the agreements and guarantees in place with other firms. (Fernando J. Peris Bonet, Marta Peris-Ortiz and Ignacio Gil Pechuan, 2011: 270) Organizational Behavior beginnings can be found within the human relations/behavioral management movement, which initiated during the 1920s as a response to the traditional or classical management approach. Managers at that time were concerned about how to design and manage work in order to increase productivity and help organizations achieve maximum efficiency. This approach included Frederick Taylor’s (1911) well-known framework of scientific management, or “Taylorism,” as known now. Taylor believed that efficiency was achieved by creating jobs that economized time, human energy, and other productive resources.
