Performance Task I believe that in the best interest of the United States of America, one must rapidly build up political, economic, and military strength of the non­communist countries in order to advance in warfare against the communists and Mao Zedong. In my clarificational essay i will be explaining the different factors effecting the proposal for which I have chosen. These factors include public opinions, current situation, as well as world views. I have chosen this proposal because we must ally with the non­Communist states and rise to the top and win in the eventual war that will take place. I beilieve, with my professional opinion as an advisor to the President of the United
States, that we must focus on strengthening our allies so that they may strengthen us in times of war. The Truman Doctrine, in my opinion, should be pushed through as it would stop out enemies from expanding their communist outreach further. Containment should be further expanded and added upon when it comes to implementation in order to stop the spread of communism as well as the rule and influence of Mao Zedong. The current situation regarding the buffer states is intimidating due to the fact that a readily available army is armed to attack and will attack at any sign of invasion. This is an issue that is handled by the communists and must be dealt with as soon as possible. Communism doesnt support economic, political, and overall strength when it comes to the advancement of a nation. Communism must be stopped with the current containment and enforced by the Truman Doctrine. The current political systems arent sufficient enough to provide all of these great benefits, so converting more and more countries to a democratic country will always ensure that new systems will be formed.
These new systems can be added upon and therefore creating stronger economies and if this is going to happen, we must first rapidly build up political, economic, and military strength
