Its 5:00am i just got up and got dressed in my hunting gear. i grabbed my gun and got into the truck where my dad was already waiting. He said, “Are you ready for your first hunt”. I said yes tiredly and we took off. when we arrived to the property we were hunting on we parked the truck and and walked to the hunting shed. When we arrived we opened the door and sat our chairs down. the hunting shed was a small box looking thing that our family have been using for around 40 years We waited and waited and then I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was a doe i turned my head slowly and saw it about 100 yards away and thought is was a done deal. I picked up my gun and as I did I saw the deer running and by the time it stopped…
Riley was a very aggressive dog. That morning he had climbed on Max’s back and threw him to the ground. After that they day was normal, I rode the bus from grandma and grandpas house to school and then got back on the bus at 3:15. When I got home at about 6:30 P.M. I saw Max’s collar on the dining room table. I didn’t think much about it and just started to eat my supper. Then when my dad came in carrying Max’s body into the house. I knew what happened, he was dead. My dad was crying, he had just lost his best friend. At that point I didn’t know what happened. I was little, but latter that night I found out what had happened to Max, he broke three bones in his body because of Riley throwing him to the ground that morning. After we found out why Max had to be put down, we made the tough decision to put Riley down to because he was to aggressive. That day that I lost Max was a day I lost a part of me. I was so sad. I understand now why my best friend was put…
My parents have left me in with a huge list of chores to do, none which I am very excited about. I have finally completed the last of them and I finished it off by bringing the mail up from the mail box, I am running down to the mailbox through the rain I noticed the rain got heavier. I heard a rumble of thunder in the distance. I hurried back inside and locked the door. It was strange now that I had nothing to do so I decided to take a shower and just relax for the remainder of the night. As I stepped into the bathroom I felt a harsh breeze slap me in the face, I realized I left the window open when I was cleaning it. As I shut the window I saw that fog had condensed on the mirror and there were some sort of strange smudges cutting through the fog. I thought they looked almost like claw marks but reason took over me and told me that they were marks from the water droplets had smudged down the mirror. I took my shower and dried off without a second thought.…
Imagine a state fair packed with people and every second you get sacked, the fairs like a football game and you’re on offense and you keep trying to dodge the defensive end. The fair is really expensive, the rides are five dollars apiece, when I went on the tilt a whirl the person that operated the ride got on without being in a seat so right before the ride ended he ran into me but for some reason I was laughing hysterically. The guy must have gotten hurt because when I went back I looked over at the ride and then I saw a new guy operating the ride. After that I went on a ride that looked like a spider and that ride went really fast as fast as a rabbit running away from a hunter, I was on the ride for seven minutes it just kept going up and…
Blood flowing out of my skull and hands. I can feel my whole head throbbing. The surges of pain continue over and over. I decide to pull strength from within to get up to check out the quad. I soon realize that the crack I heard was the snapping of the axle rod forcing the tire to be bent and rendering the quad un-drivable. Leaving the quad behind, I decided to walk back to camp. Of course I forgot my phone back at camp not planning that I would be taking a mouthful of dirt. As I walk I notice a white figure out of the corner of my eye. Since I was hurt and not sensible, my first thought was that this figure is a flesh seeking monster ready to gobble up my entire body whole. Given the fact that I actually believed that, I began to quicken my pace from a walk to a jog to a sprint. Just as I was ready to fall over and die of exhaustion, I notice an orange glow near me. This time it wasn’t a monster it was light coming from my camp’s fire. After my lengthy journey, I reached my dad and he rushed over to me baffled by my injury. With tears in my eyes, I sat down and began to regurgitate the whole experience. That night as I drift off into the abyss that was my dreams, I settled on the fact that the white figure was only the tail of a squirrel. I guess I deserved that fright given the fact that I did invade his…
The other day I woke ever so confused. I did not see anything confusing. I was simply just confused as to what had happened yesterday. I got up out of bed and stumbled to the kitchen. I was walking around and go myself a bowl a bowl of cereal. As I sat down at the counter, I began to think about what had happened yesterday. Once I had finished my cereal, I walked to the sink and set the bowl in there. I than looked out the window and everything started to come back to me. I seen a electric scooter, a penguin with a collar on it, and a Butterfinger wrapper. My mind suddenly became flushed with memories of what had happened with these three random objects.…

I looked all around this place searching for any sign of life I could find. I walked for what it seemed like ten miles when I came across what seemed to be a creature. It looked like a blue fluffy dog, with long rabbit ears, a cat tail and antennas, almost like something you would see in a sci-fi movie. I approached it slowly and it came closer to me and jumped on me and licked me all over my face. At first I was stricken with shock but then I realized it was my dog, Biscuit. I exploded with…
We had another dust storm yesterday. It was pretty bad. It was around 1:30 that it happened. I was outside when I saw it coming. I rushed inside and screamed, Dust Storm! Dad rushed inside from sealing one of the windows. Mom stopped cleaning clothes, and poured all of the water on any cloth that she could find. Then she hung them up on the inside of the window to catch any dust that came in. Dad went into his room and came back with some masks to put on and protect us from the dirt that we might have breathed in. We huddled up in the center of the house and waited for the dust to hit. When it did it sounded like an explosion. It immediately got dark. I wasn’t sure if it was from the storm or if it was just me closing my eyes. There darkness stayed for only a couple of minutes but it felt like an hour. When the storm finally ended we looked around. The house was covered in dust. It got a little bit brighter but not by much.…
