  3.) Is there significant difference on the level of hygiene practices of Breastfeeding mothers in Brgy. Guinhalaran, Silay city 2010 – 2011 when the respondents are group according to:
  a. Age
  b. Educational Attainment
  c. Socioeconomic Status

Statement of the Hypothesis

  1.) There is significant difference on the level of hygiene practices of breastfeeding mothers in Brgy. Guinhalaran, Silay City when the respondents are group according to age, educational attainment and socioeconomic status.

Significance of the Study

  A. Breastfeeding Mothers
  * For them to know the significance of colostrums during breastfeeding
  B. City Health Office
  * In order to enhance programs regarding in proper hygiene practices of breastfeeding mothers by financial support.

  C. Barangay Health Center
  * For them to cooperate in the City Health Office by conducting seminars and symposiums for the breastfeeding mothers.

  D. Student Nurses
  * For them to help promoting Health teachings such as preparing a mothers class.

  E. Department of Health (DOH)
  * For them to be aware of the status of breastfeeding mothers in that specific area.
