Introduction:
Entertainment methods have varied over time. Each day a new method is added to the list. People used to tell short stories to each other for amusement. Now they demand much more complicated ways to fill their spare time. Some occupy their free time with outdoors activities like hiking, horseback riding or even rock climbing. Others prefer more the easy relaxing style of living that does not involve much movement yet can still be entertaining. Two of the very famous forms of entertainment nowadays are Novels and Movies. Even though they are completely different they still share some similarities. Popularity and their ability to deliver massages are two of their similarities while they differ in their ability to improve individuals thinking talents. BP1 : Movies and Novels are both broadly known worldwide.

Major Detail1: Sales rates for both movies and novels.
Minor Detail1: almost 1,500,000,000 tickets were sold in 2011. Minor Deatil2: 724 million novels were sold in 2008.

Major Detail2: Movies now can be based on novels.
Minor Detail1: successful books can be used to produce movies which will increase the popularity of the book itself. Minor Detail2: people who read the book and visualized the scenario will be eager to see the movie version of the book. Major Detail3: they are found in every country in the world. Minor Detail1: people with different ages, backgrounds and races can enjoy and appreciate movies and novels. Minor Detail2: movies and novels can be made to suite certain types of people. Concluding Sentence: their popularity is a prof of their success.
