Artexpress is a stylish and contemporary art exhibition featuring a handful of outstanding artworks created by Higher School Certificate art students in NSW. Artexpress is an annual exhibition and selects exceptional students from a broad range of medians and expressive forms including ceramics, photography, drawing, graphic design, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, painting and object design. Artexpress exhibitions take place at different times in multiple regional and metropolitan locations across NSW including the Art Gallery of NSW. The students selected for the Artexpress have done exceptionally well and achieved very high marks for HSC art. This year, contemporary art critic Lily Heap visited the dynamic exhibition and wrote a critical review about this years showcase and talent.

Every year the Artexpress exhibition displays many artworks that are of exceptional quality. This year’s Artexpress had its strengths and weaknesses, however over all it was of incredibly high excellence and it has retained its cutting-edge and contemporary reputation.

This years Artexpress curator, Tristan Sharp has done an extraordinary job in creating a diverse yet coherent display.
