1. What were some of most horrific things from the novel that Elie had to go through?
Loosing his faith, loosing his childhood, loosing everybody he ever knew including his father and loosing himself. The concentration camp Auschwitz itsef and the experiences he got from there were horrific.
2. When were the times when he was close to giving up? When his father died.
3. What part in the camp made him ‘less human’?

4. Did Elie succeed with his struggle?

5. He survived the camp, but what were some things that he lost?

Elie lost his faith, he lost his feelings, he lost his friends, his belongings and his family but most of all he lost his innocence and his childhood.
