New York Law School is a private law school in the TriBeCa neighborhood of Lower Manhattan in New York City, New York, United States. New York Law School is one of the oldest independent law schools in the United States. The school is located within four blocks of all major courts in borough of Manhattan in New York City and is one of eight ABA-approved law schools in that city. On February 29, 2012, Anthony Crowell was named the 16th Dean and President of New York Law School . Prior to his appointment, he served as Counselor to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg (2006–2012). He served as Special Counsel to Mayor Bloomberg from 2002 to 2006.
