Nelson Mandela, Godfather of South Africa for long centuries to these days,when we speak

about peace in South Africa he is the first name in the issue,But what this person did to gain all this

love and appreciation among the people around the world,he went to prison for many years for no

reason, and left the prison to become President of the peace before he became President of South

Africa. he received a lot of Awards around the world include Nobel Peace Prize.

Nelson Mandela is a black South African, his family lived in South Africa for many long

years. Nelson Mandela was born in 1918 in South African in small village called a “reserve”. The white

people who ruled South Africa kept the best land and places for themselves and told the black people

they should live in “reserves”.[1]

Nelson was good at school and grew up to become a lawyer in a large city in South Africa

Johannesburg. In Johannesburg, white people do not want to mix their life and stuff with black people.

They kept all the best things for themselves, even public service and seats in parks were for white

people only!. [2]

Nelson Mandela was jailed because his political activity, In 1961, Mandela became president of

the military of the African National Council. In August 1962 Mandela was arrested and put in jail for a

5 years for illegal travel and the measure of the strike. In 1964, they judgment again for planning to

armed action, and put him in jail for the rest of his life.

Mandela close his life by divorce his wife. He wanted to be free. Freedom for his people

was what he looked at and he was prepared to “die, for it”. Be rebel was not easy, he was banned,

arrested and imprisoned. There was a time when he was not allow to guests visit him in Jail,but he

continue his mission with insist to deserve that. during his period jail people were asked freedom for

him, also that was reduce the racism. Mandela started his prison years in Robin Island

prison, which has maximum security prison in South Africa on a small island 7km the coast near Cape

Town.

Nelson Mandela and his friends said everything should be shared equally, But this was against

the law. When Nelson Mandela and his friends spoke against the law, they sent to prison. Around the

world many people said that Nelson Mandela was right and the white South African laws were wrong,

he went to prison a young man but came out as an old man.

Mandela was released from prison in the 11th of February 1990, after he released, he worked

hard to achieve his mission, his release from prison to all the world . He made a speech in the first day

of his release, he mentioned that his struggle is not finish and will continue the battle for the freedom of

the block people ans South Africa. Mandela said he had no option but to fight until the apartheid risks

come to the end. In his speech he also told that his main aim is to bring peace to the black people, and

they should have the right to vote for every things include the national elections.

Around the world, Mandela came to be as a man of peace , Mandela was a relax man when he

talking to others, including his opponents. he enjoyed talking with his staff in parties. during his life, he

was known the best for everyone and every time, even with his political opponents, Nelson Mandela

struggle man, he is still leading the fight against apartheid, he spending nearly three decades of his life

behind bars. He offer his private life and his youth for his people, and became South Africa’s best

known person .

Nelson Mandela was very honest person, his behavior with people was very good. He said "We

enter into a covenant that we shall build a society in which all South Africans, both black and white,

will be able to walk tall, without any fear in their hearts, assured of their inalienable...
