These are words we might find on a video game played by a five or six year old child. Children are exposed to these quotes by irresponsible parents that don’t follow the warning labels on the games. Exposure to violent video games to a young one can develop difficulties in them. It can be physically, or mentally or even socially, but at some point it can harm them. Violent video games should be banned from the market because children’s physical and mental health and social life is being affected by the excessive video gaming.
Social “suicide” (damages social life) and poor school performance is commonly developed by excessive gaming. When the child is so obsessed with games he might be physically at school but, his mind is in a trance of when he’ll be again reunited with his precious game. When the child arrives at home his school work won’t matter. He or she will just rapidly do homework to reenter happiness with the video game. At the same time that school begins to not matter so does family. Family time will be ignored by the child because the only thing in his mind is game, game and game. Soon enough with the too much exposure to video gaming the child will become isolated from the world around them and the only thing that matters is the game.
We can say that social damage and poor school performance is an issue but, physically the child is also affected by the compulsive gaming. With the over involvement with game children don’t spend time in physical activities needed to stay fit. Sometime during game time they might be frustrated or anxious to finish the course that they might develop food anxiety and eat “junk” food as we call it. Junk food and no physical activity create overweight issues. This is consequence of no calories burned and soon enough their body will begin to grow into “chubby” or as cruel as it might sound become a... [continues]
