I am a strong leader because of my positions held in my extracurricular activities. I was section leader in band for two year where I had to watch over twelve clarinet players and teach them how to improve themselves in their band/marching band career like I have.…

Upon receiving my letter for invitation to apply for the National Junior Honor Society came feelings of hard work pays off, and a bit of pride. I have worked very hard to maintain an all A average at Friendswood Junior High while taking some PAP classes as well as challenging myself with Latin. Having been told in a conference with a 5th grade teacher that I was not going to be an A student and that my parents and I needed to get used to that fact, sent me on a mission to be the best student I knew that I was capable of being, regardless of what any teacher thought.…
As a member of the National Honor Society (NHS), you must posses the four essential qualities, Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. It is not only a privilege, but an honor, to be acknowledged as a member of the NHS. If accepted, not only would I be a valuable asset, but I would help pave the way for others and set a good example for those in training.…

Hello, I’m Caroline Woodle and I feel that I would be a propitious member of National Honor Society. This organization does an incredible job of recognizing students who are leaders in their communities. In my opinion, the most influential part of a person is their character. Activities such as competitive dance, FFA, and youth leadership events continuously reinforce my values of honesty and hardwork. Giving to and inspiring others are two of the most important parts of my life. Numerous Midwest mission trips revealed to me the responsibility and desire I have to serve others. During these work trips, my youth group and I met with dozens of people who had devastating stories of natural disasters that had completely destroyed their homes and…
We all have the choice to lead or not. So the question becomes: Why does someone choose to lead? I believe the answer is, fundamentally, that they believe strongly enough in something that they want to take action and are willing to take on the responsibility of being a leader. Such is the case for me with regards to teaching. When I was young I simply wanted to be led. As I matured, however, opportunities to assume leadership roles presented themselves and, with support from my peers and mentors, I found myself taking them on and have grown to enjoy being a leader and helping those around me succeed.…
National Honor Society is a beneficial experience to improve leadership, develop character, and help the community. I personally want to join Nation Honor Society because I would like to develop my leadership skills further, so I can benefit the clubs that I have officer positions in, help organize my community garden better, and help organize events for Frisco’s environmental organization for teens. I will be beneficial to National Honor Society because I will help come up with new ideas to support the school and community, and I will support my fellow members and their ideas. National Honor Society seems like a good experience that can help me grow to become a better leader.…

I will also strive to help my peers achieve their goals and personal success that they will, intern, use to better themselves in the long run. If I am chosen to be in the National Honor Society I will give suggestions on how to make, not just my school, but my community better as well. There are many ways one may contribute to their society. Some people may use their intelligence in order to advance society; some may lead the country to be a better future; some may make the world to be a better place just by being in it; and some may volunteer their time to help others. It’s difficult to find one person who possesses and contributes all of these qualities, but I am sure I do. Because the standards for entrance into the Junior Honors Society are leadership, scholarship, character, and service, I believe that I am more qualified for entrance into an organization as prestigious as the Junior Honors Society. Throughout my years as a Meridian Public Charter School student, I believe that I have demonstrated all of these attributes. First and foremost, I am an excellent scholar. Not only do I work very hard to achieve my goals, but I take pride I my accomplishments. I am never happy when something I now is less than my best. I strive for excellence always. Throughout me elementary school career, I have been on the honor roll every marking period, and I am proud of that. At the end of my elementary school years I believe I have been the smartest of them all. Also, my GPA has never gone below a 3.6 and I have never received a grade less than a B-. I believe that fact of being nominated for the Junior Honors Society shows my academic achievement in itself. I am also capable of being an honorable leader. I am trustworthy and responsible. If something is expected of me, I try my best to live up to the expectations and strive to do even better. I am true to my word and I can be trusted to complete a task on time. I am also a respectable person suit to be a leader. I do not follow crowds, nor would I ever desire to; I enjoy being unique.…
Overall, I believe that National Junior Honor Society is an honorable organization that should never be overlooked. For me, to be able to contribute to the club is pure dedication, and I believe that I could do just so whether it is to try my best to clear my schedule for upcoming events or completing my service hours for the…
The National Honors Society is more than just a honor roll, but an organization that recognizes the efforts made by hard working high school students. I would like to join National Honors Society because it would challenge my development in both my community and my school. The National Honors Society, consisting of over one million students, would make me a part of a large community that could create many opportunities for me in the future. A highly respected organization such as the National Honors Society is very significant to me. The scholarships and programs offered by this organization helps increase my ability to get the education that I desire that I might not have been able to receive due to the rapidly rising costs of college. Every…
In all the years I have attended high school so far, I have been reminded by many teachers that earning service hours if very important. This was because colleges would much rather accept an applicant that has been doing good out of school and also very rounded, service hours show this. When I first heard about the National Honors Society, I have been told that this is a very prestigious Society because it will help with our service hours and also that it will look extremely well in our transcripts.…
