NARRATIVE REPORT

THE SSC ( SUPREME STUDENT COUNCIL ) ELECTION S.Y. 2014-2015

The Botolan Community College ( BCC ) located in front of Agora Public Market

at Batonlapoc, Botolan Zambales conducted an election for this school year 2014-2015 for new

set of SCC Officers who will be obligated to handle the said school for transparency and good

governance and to be the new leaders for the BCC students.

They started the filing of candidacy in July 1, 2014 (Tuesday) for those aspiring student

who wants to join this organization. Many students joined and created their party lists. The BCC

United Party list, by their president Laurence Mae Manalo of BEEd, followed by the Govern

Party list, by their president, Arjay Trinidad of BEEd and one Independent Party list, Alvin

Ferrer of BSHRM as the president. They have to be ready for the incoming room-to-room

campaigning and for the Miting de Avance. Each presidents of the said partylist must made their

platforms in considering the maintenance of the school’s peace and unity. As of July 7-9, 2014

is the room-to-room campaigning. Each of them kindly introduce theirselves and their

respective running positions. Their responsibilities and duties also are included if they will won

the campaign in these coming election. There platforms are seemingly similar but they didn’t

notice it. There just some parts of it are different and the way they explain it.

There platforms are listed below:

    Being a member of Best Buddies and SAVE, I demonstrate a strong sense of dedication for supporting others and lending a helping hand. The goals of both Best Buddies and SAVE are to further acceptance, embrace diversity, promote safety in schools, and spreading positive energy.     On-the-Job-Training or OJT is job training that occurs in the work place. It is part of a college curriculum that aims to train and orient students about the work and their future career. It is very important not only to teach students their chosen career but to show students the reality about working. Students should not take OJT for granted because if you will get a high evaluation grade, your employer might hire you when you graduate.
